About the founder

Jonas Liubinas, Professional Land Surveyor

I am a professional land surveyor working in Lithuania. I built PLN System because the tools I used in the field did not match how survey companies actually operate.

Control point detail in PLN System, with coordinates, a condition note, and the photograph taken when the point was established
Built by someone who has stood at the mark, not only at the keyboard. Years of field survey work in Lithuania sit behind every decision in the product, from how a task record is shaped to why the camera guide exists.

Field work first, software second

Years of survey practice in Lithuania came before the first line of PLN code. The workflow in the product is the workflow from the jobs, not one borrowed from generic project management tools.

  • Professional land surveyor
  • Field and office experience
  • Lithuania and the wider EU

Why generic project tools were not enough

Survey work carries location, instruments, vehicles, calibration dates, and crew availability. Generic project software models none of them, so companies end up bridging the gap with spreadsheets and messaging apps.

  • Location and geometry as first-class data
  • Instruments and vehicles in the plan
  • Crew availability tied to scheduling

Built in the EU for small and medium firms

PLN is developed and hosted in the European Union by a Lithuanian company, billed in euro, and priced for teams that cannot justify forty dollars per user per month.

  • EU-developed and EU-hosted
  • Euro as the primary billing currency
  • Workspace pricing, not per-seat pricing
